Playing CASTLE is similar to using a computer without a good users manual,
which is all the time. I know for a fact that it is possible to escape the
castle, but for a while I didn't think so. LOOK at everything and try
combining different objects.
3-DEMON is Pacman or Packgal from the inside, a first person game that
shows you the maze at eye level. It a brilliant piece of programming with
obvious analogies to life. If you don't have a graphics card, get one so you
can play this game and many other advanced games that PC-SIG distributes.
There is much to be said for the Dramatiast point of view as it helps
explain why so few explanations are given for counter-intuitive procedures we
are asked to accept by Programmers. More radical proponents of the philosophy
suggest that Life Itself is a game, citing the obvious lack of a user friendly
owner's manual. While it is true that most of us are in a permanent state of
bewilderment, I do not believe it necessary to fall prey to Kant's fallacy.
